MAC Modesty Lipstick, Soar Lipliner & Tan Pigment
4/30/2017
I have been meaning
to do a haul / review of a few MAC products for a long time but I wanted to
wait until I bought Mac's Tan Pigment to do it. Last week I popped into Mac and
finally got the pigment so I have decided to talk you through a few of my
favourite Mac products…
I have a few
Mac lipsticks in my collection and I love them all. However, I must admit
there's one I love a bit more than the others and that is Modesty. Modesty is described
as a muted nude pink and has a cremesheen finish. The cremesheen finishes by
Mac are one of my favourites as they are really comfortable on the lips, have a
great pigmentation and stay for along time on the lips considering they are not
matte. I also adore the colour of Modesty; it is by far my favourite nude
colour. I think this lipstick really suits my skin colour and I have been wearing
loads since I got it.
Another
product by Mac I wear constantly is their lip liner in the shade Soar. It is dark
(rose / mauve toned) nude lip liner that goes perfect with lighter lipstick
colours, such as Mac Honeylove, if you want to create and ombre effect and
darker shades such as Velvet Teddy by Mac or the Sephora Cream Lip Stain in the
shade 23. I really like the formula of these lip liners; they aren't too drying
which I love, they stay for a really long time on the lips and they really
prolong the wear of your lip colour, especially when worn with a matte lipstick
or a liquid lipstick. I would really recommend this shade to any pale girl out
there that wants a nice dark nude lip liner.
Last, but
not least, let's talk about the Mac Pigment in the shade Tan. This shade is
described as a pinky bronze colour and I couldn't agree more. This product
overall is amazing; you can wear it wet or dry and it really makes your
eyeshadow look stand out; they are also really long wearing and don't have much
fall out considering they are not pressed eyeshadows. This shade in particular
is gorgeous; it goes with a lot of different looks. Also, if you have green or
hazel eyes, I'd totally recommend checking this out as it really enhances your
eye colour.
(I got the
travel size version of it as the bigger size is always sold out and you never
go through a whole bottle of pigment anyway).
Have you
tried any of these products? Let me know your thoughts and suggestions on the
