Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette

Estoy emocionada. Muy, muy emocionada de tener esta paleta en mis manos. He querido esta paleta desde que salió el pasado verano y por fin me he hecho con una. La compré durante las vacaciones de Navidad y no puedo estar más feliz. Desde que la compré es la única cosa que he llevado en mis ojos.

this new palette on my hands. I’ve wanted this since it first came out last
summer and now I finally own it. I got it around Christmas time and couldn’t be
happier about it. It has been the only thing I’ve worn on my eyes since then,
just saying.
Hablemos de la paleta en si. Me gusta mucho. Me gusta mucho el embalaje (el cierre magnético es una de las mejores cosas de él) y el efecto "edgy" que tiene. Es una paleta preciosa para tener encima de tu mueble solo para presumir. Tengo que admitir que prefiero este embalaje al de la Naked 3.
La gama de tonos es bastante buena. Tiene la cantidad de perfecta de tonos fríos y cálidos y el equilibrio perfecto de sombras brillantes y mates. Si te gusta hacer smoky eyes intensos, esta paleta es para ti. La pigmentación es increíble; todas las sombras, incluso las más claras son muy intensas. Aunque algunos tonos (como "Slanted) pueden necesitar una pequeña pulverización de Mac Fix + o algo parecido para mostrar todo su color y brillo. Os recomendaría que os toméis vuestro tiempo jugando con las sombras para encontrar vuestro look perfecto, hay muchas combinaciones diferentes!
Mi combinación preferida para el dia a dia tiene que ser "Combust" en el párpado y el pliegue, "High" en el lagrimal y "Dirty Sweet" en el párpado (esta sombra es increíble). Para salir de noche os recomendaría usar "Armor", "Smolder" y "Password" juntos para un look dramático.

Now onto the actual palette. I really like
it. I really like the packaging (I think the magnet close is one of the best
things of it) and the edgy effect it has. It’s such a pretty palette to have
above your makeup desk just for show. I have to say I prefer this packaging
from the one from the Naked 3.
The range of shades is pretty good. It has
the perfect quantity of warm and cold tones and the perfect balance between
mattes and shimmers. If you like doing pretty intense smoky eyes, this palette
is for you. The pigmentation is amazing; all the shades, even the lightest one
are really pigmented. Even though some shades (such as “Slanted”) may need a
little spray of Mac Fix + or something similar to really show up the intense
shimmer and colour. I would say that you take your time to play around with
colors and to find the perfect eye look for you, there are many different
combinations!
My favourite everyday combination might be “Combust”
on the lid and crease, “High” on the inner corners and “Dirty Sweet” on the
lids (seriously, this shade is amazing). If you ask me for a night time look I’ll
suggest using “Armor”, “Smolder” and “Password” together for a very fierce
look.
Si ya tienes una de las paletas Naked de Urban Decay ( un producto de culto en el mundo de la belleza) esta no te defraudará. Si quieres comprar tu primera paleta de Urban Decay y te gustan los tonos oscuros y brillantes, te recomiendo esta definitivamente. Por el contrario, si prefieres tonos más naturales os recomendaría mirar la Naked 1, 2 y 3 ya que tienen tonos más claros (Naked 3 es mi preferida).
If you own any other of the Urban Decay
Naked Palettes (such a cult beauty product) you won’t be disappointed with this
one. If you wonder buying your first Urban Decay palette and you are fan of
dark shades and shimmers I would really recommend you going for this one. On
the other hand, if you prefer more neutral shades I would recommend checking
the Naked 1, 2 and 3 out as they have more nudes on them (Naked 3 is my fave).
En general esta es una paleta que recomiendo de verdad y que sé que voy a usar hasta cansarme.

Overall this is a palette I would really

I really enjoy Urban Decay eyeshadows & the Naked palettes are my favorite. Unfortunately the smoky palette is my least favorite of the four true Naked palette, with the first and third being my absolute faves. I don't normally smoke out my eyes so this was just a nice to have. Thanks for sharing your thoughts as I love reading other people's thoughts even on the items that I may return if I could ;) xx adaatude.com
ReplyDeleteI do preffer the Naked 3 palette (it is gorgeous, isn't it??) but as a purple and silver eyeshadow lover I think the Naked Smoky is also amazing.
