Eye Care in a Budget

Taking care of your eyes is really, really important. However, the majority of eye creams, eye treatments and similar are pretty expensive. In my opinion there are good alternatives that are a little bit more affordable and I'm going to share them with you.

Cuidar tus ojos es muy, muy importante. Sin embargo, la mayoría de tratamientos para la zona de los ojos suelen ser bastante caros. En mi opinión hay buenas alternativas que son algo más asequibles y voy a compartirlas con vosotras.

My favourite eye cream (that is affordable) is the The Body Shop Aloe Eye Defence Eye Cream. This is fantastic if you have young skin or if you just wanna hydrate your under eye zone a little bit more. As it contains Aloe Vera, it is perfect for sensitive skin. In my case, my under eye area is soo sensitive that it will get red in the mornings; this cream has make hat zone less red and a lot more fresh looking. It is around 20€, which is really great for the actual quality of the product!

I also wanted to share an eye cream for more mature skin. If you suffer from really dark eye circles this might be for you. It is the Olay Regenerist Luminous Eye Cream and it's my mom's favourite. It has a really cool format and feels really light under the eyes while brighten that area. It has little bits of shine, but they're not noticeable once you put it on. This is one is close to the 25€ mark, but it changes depending where you buy it.

Mi crema de ojos preferida (y asequible) es la Aloe Eye Defence de The Body Shop. Esta es fantástica para piel joven o si lo que buscas es hidratar la zona del ojo un poco más. Como contiene Aloe Vera, es perfecta para piel sensible. En mi case, la zona de las ojeras y el ojo en general es tan sensible que se enrojece por las mañanas; esta crema ha ayudado a calmar y refrescar esa zona. Cuesta unos 20€, perfecto en relación con la calidad!

También quería compartir un crema para piel algo más madura. Si sufres de ojeras oscuras esta puede ser para ti. Es la Olay Regenerist Luminous Eye Cream y es la favorita de mi madre. Tiene un formato muy guay y es muy ligera cuando la aplicas aun dando brillo a esa zona. Tiene pequeños brillitos que son imperceptibles una vez puesta. Esta está cerca de los 25€, pero depende de dónde la compres.

Another product I love (and I think it's not spoken about enough) is the Sephora Pomegranate Eye Mask. In general all Sephora masks are really good (post about them coming soon). It is fibber eye mask (it has little patches that you put under your eyes). It refreshes the eye area and makes your eyes look more rested. I found this perfect to apply after a long week. This costs around 4€.

Otro producto que adoro (y del que creo que no se habla lo suficiente) es la Pomegranate Eye Mask de Sephora. En general todas las mascarillas de Sephora son buenas (haré una entrada sobre eso pronto). Es una mascara de fibras (pequeños parches que aplicas debajo del ojo). Refresca la zona del ojo y hace que tus ojos se vean más descansados. Me encanta aplicarla después de una semana larga. Cuesta unos 4€.
