I love wearing slightly darker makeup in autumn and winter, without loosing that feminine look I like. I've been wearing the same look a lot recently and I wanted to share it with you today.

If you have followed the blog for a long time, you'll know last winter I did a post called exactly like this. This one is the updated version of that one, a little bit darker and autumnal and one I love even more. Also, I think my makeup skills have improved and that really shows up on the looks I do.

I'd recommend you start with the eye makeup as you can get a little bit of fall out, but you can start by your face if you prefer.
I decided to go for a glowy, no-bronzer, face makeup this time, but you can definitely add bronzer if you like it. For foundation I'm using one of my favourites, the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation and applying it all over my face. Then I use some of the Maybelline Fit Me concealer under my eyes and set the face slightly with a translucent powder. For blush I used the Bourjois Blush in Lilas d'Or, it is such a nice autumn blush and for highlight I use The Balm Mary Lou-manizer.

The eye makeup is my favourite thing about this look. It really makes green eyes pop, but I think it will look great on any eye colour. To begin with I took a matte nude shade from Sephora called Scented Candle and apply it on my eyelids and crease. Then I took a Kiko eye shadow and I took it on the crease, building the colour as much as I wanted. For an extra shine I took a copper shade from Sephora called Hello September and I apply it on the centre of my lids. The combination of these three shades is amazing! To make the look a little bit smokier I took a burgundy eye pencil from Sephora and smudge it on my lower lash line, as well as some of the matte shadow we used before.
To finish the look I highlighted my inner corners with my face highlight and apply a few coats of my Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara.

In order to make this look really autumnal I decided to go for a dark nude. I lined and filled my lips with the Essence Lip Liner in the shade In the Nude and then apply some of the Toasted Brown Lipstick from Maybelline.

I really love this look and I know I'll be wearing it a lot. If you recreate it tag me on Twitter @frontbow.
