We all have those days when we need to look put together but we only have ten minutes to do our makeup. Even though it seems impossible, you can get a nice (full face) makeup look in a few minutes if you use the right products and know a few tricks. Today we are going to be talking about some of my favourite products / tips that help me create a nice makeup look in under ten minutes.

Applying foundation in a hurry can be quite a nightmare. You could go for concealer and powder and create a really natural base if you prefer; however, I found I spend more time doing that than applying a soft layer of foundation. I have also discovered recently that cushion foundations are really easy and quick to apply; If are in a hurry but still want to wear foundation I'd recommend you go for one in a cushion form. A BB Cream, a CC Cream or a tinted moisturizer are also a great alternative.
Another thing I love is using products that will help me reduce the amount of steps of my makeup routine. I love using blushes that work as a highlight as well whenever I am on a hurry. The L'Oreal Accord Parfait Highlighter in the rose shade works perfect for that. Another great product for that are cream blushes, such as the Nars Multiple, that will give both colour and radiance to your cheeks.

When it comes to eye makeup I have a few more tips to share with you. Number one would be to fill in your eye brows ALWAYS; eyebrows change the structure of your face and make you look more awake and fresh. I'd also recommend you stay away from winged liner (unless you are really good at it) and that you go for cream eyeshadows instead. Cream eyeshadows, whether it is in a stick or pot form, are perfect for when you are in a hurry. They can make an entire look by their own and are really easy and quick to apply. My favourites are the ones from Kiko and Maybelline. I'd also recommend that you keep an eyelash curler with you. Curling your lashes before applying mascara makes it so much quicker. Also, if you have no time what so ever, you can give your lashes a curl and stay away from mascara and you'd still look awake.

Last but not least let's talk about lips. I found lip crayons, such as the Nars ones, are the perfect option for when you are in a hurry as they are really easy to apply. If you use them, you could easily go for a bold lip colour without worrying about lip liners and extra steps. Liquid lipsticks, and more specifically those with a mouse consistency, are also great for when you need to do your makeup quickly. I found the Bourjois Liquid Lipsticks are perfect for that as they have a mouse formula and a perfect wand to apply the product.
