My 5 Favourite Winter Lipsticks

I can't believe it is already December. Winter is just around the corner and so is Christmas (which I am extremely excited about). In today's post I am going to be talking about my five favourite winter lipsticks. They are all high end; however, I have a few posts talking about my favourite drugstore makeup products (which you can find here).

I am going to start talking about the nude shades and talk about the reds later. The lightest shade I have to share with you is the Bare Minerals Gen Nude Liquid Lipstick in Wink. These liquid lipsticks are some of my favourite as they are really matte but still comfortable on the lips. This shade in particular is the one I go for when I want something really light, as it is the perfect light nude pink.

Charlotte Tilbury is now available in Sephora Spain and as soon as I saw it, I went to my closest Sephora and bought the Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk. I now understand all the hype about this product. These lipsticks have the best formula I have ever tried and the shade is just the perfect pink nude shade, without being too light. I have been wearing this almost every day. I really want to try more products from Charlotte Tilbury as I’m really impressed with this lipstick.

When I feel like my lips are extremely dry, I would go for the Nars Velvet Lip Glide in Bound. These lip products are some of my favourite as they look really nice on the lips and are really moisturizing; I'd really recommend them if you suffer from really dry lips in winter. The shade Bound is a beautiful mauve that is perfect for this time of the year.

I love red lipstick all year round but I feel like they are perfect for this time of the year. I have two red lipsticks I love and I wear the most when I feel like wearing a red lipstick. The Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Golshan is such a beautiful true red that is extremely easy to apply and long lasting on the lips. I also really like the Matte Lip Pencil in the shade Cruella, also from Nars.

The last lipstick I have to share with you is the Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Colour in Ruby. I tend to wear this lipstick when I want to wear a red but I don't want it to be too intense. This shade is extremely beautiful and the formula of these lipsticks is lovely; I really want to try more shades from this line. This is also the perfect shade for a party look, especially paired with a bronze smoky eye.

These are my five favourite lipsticks for winter. What are yours? Let me know in the comments…
