How I Stay Organized
10/03/2017
With
University, extra classes and blogging I sometimes find I am a bit out of
control and I feel the need to organize my life.. In this short post I am going
to be talking you about my little tips that help stay organized and be more
productive.
My first
tip is something really basic and that many people already do, but it is to
keep a planner or an agenda always with you (even if it's just on your
smartphone). This will help you see in a much easier way all of the things you
have to do, all of the work you need to do for university, etc. I even like to
write down the post I want to upload that day just so that I commit my self to
doing it. I personally prefer planners (with non-established days) over agendas
just because I can use them whenever I want and I can skip the weeks I am on
holiday or I don't have classes.

planner I use: http://www.octagon-design.com/shop/plan-your-week-perpetual-weekly-planner
Another
thing I'd really recommend getting is a to-do list pad or a weekly planner that
you can put on your desk. You can write down the deadlines for your homework,
the days you want to upload a post or, like I do, write little to do list for
everyday. This I find really makes me more productive and I get work done so
much easier and faster.
Some of
my favourites planners and to-do lists:
Something
I really like doing, and I find really helps me stay organized and stress free,
is taking some time for myself everyday. Even if I just talk ten minutes to
read my favourite blog or watch some Youtube videos, just by doing this little
thing I become less stressed and even more productive. I also try to work out 3
to 4 times a week; it really keeps me going and more active!
When it
comes to studying I'd recommend you go and find the way that works the best for
you. Everyone is different and not everything works for everyone; some prefer
studying in groups and other enjoy studying by themselves, some like studying
on the library and others study better at home. (Also, if you want to see a
post on how I take notes for university please let me know in the comments
bellow).
Notes,
whether it is on your laptop, your phone or in paper, are also really useful to
remind yourself important dates or things. Buy some nice ones that you like and
write all the important stuff you need to remember in there!
Last but
not least I wanted to give you a little tip to stay motivated (whether it is at
work, university or school. I like to set myself goals (sometimes way too
ambitious) and reward myself every time I achieve one of my goals. The rewards
can be anything, from that handbag you desperately want to a film marathon on a
Sunday afternoon.
That's
all for today's post!! I really hope you enjoy it and it was helpful…
