Winter started officially yesterday and I wanted to share with you some style and beauty inspiration for this time of the year. 

I know it has been long since I last posted something on the blog but I was extremely busy with exams.... Now they are all over and I'm oficially on my Christmas Break! I don't know how much I'd be posting over Christmas, but I'd try to post at least once more before the year finishes. 

I love neutral colours the most and I specially adore them over this time of the year. You can create really amazing looks with a basic colour palette or even add some prints (like polka dots or leopard print) to make your outfit a bit more fun. I also think wearing your hair in a low bun while wearing a turtleneck jumper is extremely flattering and elegant. I am also obsessed with berets and baker boy hats at the moment.

I also think burgundy works wonders in winter... It's a subtle way of adding a small pop of colour to your darker outfits. I also love wearing it in eyeshadow or lipstick form ( I prefer it on the eyes becuase my lips get really dry in winter and only accept nude lipsticks). Another thing I'm completely obsessed with are aviator jackets; I got one from Zara during Black Friday and I can't stop wearing it.

Red is another of my favourite colours to wear in winter, specially over Christmas; you can wear in small accesories or go with a bright red jumper if you are brave enough. I also love spending sunday evenings at home with a book and a cup of hot chocolate; is there anything more winter appropiate than this?
