Hair Inspiration | Colour & Cuts

Con el inicio del verano y con suerte de las vacaciones, muchas personas tienden a cambiar su pelo. me hice un cambio hará cosa de 3 semanas (y que no salió bien, dejadme saber si queréis que os cuente la historia) y, como sé lo complicado que puede ser decidir; hoy traigo una entrada sobre los diferentes colores de pelo y cortes. Disfruta!!

With the start of summer and hopefully holidays, many people tend to change their hair. I've done this already about 3 weeks ago (and it didn't go well, let me know if you would like and story time about that) and, because I know how complicated it can be to decide; today I've a post all about different hair colours and cuts. Enjoy!!

COLOR / COLOUR

La "cosa" que he hecho a mi pelo son mechas balayage. Si quieres saber lo que es el balayage con más detalle, haz clic aquí. Personalmente me encanta esta idea, creo que se ve muy bien, pero no es tan agresivo como otros colores que se pueden aplicar al pelo. Yo recomiendo que vayas a tu peluquería, pero si lo quieres hacer en casa, L'Oreal vende algunos kits increíbles.

The "thing" that I've done to my hair are balayage highlights. If you wanna know what balayage is in more detail, click here. I personally love this idea, I think it looks really nice but it isn't as aggressive as other colours you can apply to your hair. I'd recommend you go to your hairdressers, but if you wanna do it home, L'Oreal sells some amazing kits.

Otra cosa que puedes hacer es teñir tu cabello de un color completamente diferente al tuyo o si no quieres un cambio tan grande, unos tonos más oscuros o claros. Mis colores favoritos son el marrón claro, pelirrojos, pasteles y rubios (Me encantaría ser rubia algún día).

Another thing you can do is dye your hair a completely different colour from yours or if you don't want such a big change, a few shades darker or lighter. My favourite colours are light brown, gingers and reads, pastels and blondes (I'd love to be a blonde some day).

Si no quieres algo que va a ser permanente, puedes probar los colores de cabello semi-permanentes (Manic Panic tiene un montón de ellos) o incluso tiza para el pelo para crear unas pequeñas de mechas de color. Voy a enlazar algunos abajo para que podáis echar un vistazo.

If you don't want something that is going to be permanent, you can try semi-permanent hair colors (Manic Panic has a bunch of them) or even hair chalk to create some little coloured highlights. I'll link some bellow so you can have a look.

CORTES / CUTS

Aquí es cuando todo se vuelve divertido. Hay muchos, muchos cortes de pelo que puedes hacerte. Del más corto al más largo, voy a enseñaros mis favoritos de cada categoría.

Si estás planeando cortarte el pelo muy corto para el verano, puedes probar un corte pixie. Son realmente únicos y creo que son preciosos. Si no quieres ir tan corto, puedes intentar un Bob. Es una longitud muy agradable, a la altura de los oídos, y favorece a muchas estructuras faciales.

This is when everything gets funny. There are many, many hair cuts you can get. From the shortest to the longest, I'll show my favourites of each category.

If you are planning to cut your hair really short for summer time, you can try a pixie cut. They're really unique and I think they're beautiful. If you don't wanna go that short, you can try a Bob. It's a really nice length, just to your ears, and it’s really fluttering in many face shapes.

Si quieres algo no demasiado corto, un LOB es para ti (que es básicamente una BOB más largo). Un LOB te da mucha libertad a la hora de peinarte que un corte de pelo más corte. Si quieres hacerlo un poco más divertido puedes añadirle capas o incluso algunas mechas para dar movimiento al cabello.

Si tienes un corte de pelo de longitud media (a la altura de los hombros más o menos) puedes añadirle capas o incluso un flequillo. Es uno de los peinados clásicos, es fácil y bonito al mismo tiempo y es muy versátil a la hora de jugar con él.

If you want something not too short, a LOB is for you (it is basically a longer bob). It gives you lots of freedom when it comes to styling it, as you can do more things than with a shorter hair. If you want to spice it up a little bit you can layer it to give more volume to the hair or add some highlights that give movement to it.

If you have medium length haircut (bellow your shoulders more or less) you can as well layer it or even add bangs to it. It is one of the classic hairstyles, it's easy and pretty at the same time and it's really versatile when it comes to playing with it.

Por último, pero no menos importante, si eres fan del pelo largo, puedes inspirarte en las imágenes de debajo. El pelo largo no tiene que ser siempre igual, puedes hacer peinados increíbles con esta longitud y es muy fácil de cambiar añadiendo capas.

Last but not least, if you're a long hair fan, you can get inspiration from the picture bellow. Long hair doesn't have to look always the same, you can make incredible hairstyles with this length and it's really easy to change by layering it.
