On my reading list…

If you read my goals for this year you might remember that one of them was to read at least 15 books this year. I know this isn't a big number, but considering the amount of reading I have to do for university it was a realistic goal. I thought I'd do a little update and talk you through the last books I have read and the three I am planning on reading next.

JUST FINISHED BOOKS…

THE BOY AT THE TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN
I am not normally one for historical novels but I do love the style of John Boyne. This book talks about a little boy called Pierrot whose life takes a 360-degree change when the Second World War starts. I think this book is extremely easy to read and makes you look at that period of history with quite different eyes.

GALA CONFIDENTIAL
I am a huge fan girl for Gala Gonzalez. I think she has such an effortless still chic style and I was really interested in knowing her experience in the fashion world as well as to know how she started and developed her career. I really liked this book; I felt like I was having a face to face chat with her and I overall really enjoyed reading it.

CURRENTLY WAITING TO BE READ…

UNCOMMON TYPE
I adore Tom Hanks and every single think he does. I have just bought this book to take with me on holiday and I think it's going to be perfect as it contains seventeen short stories. I love that type of books as they are easy to read when you don't have much time and I'm really excited to read it.

SHE MUST BE MAD
After seeing Alix from I Covet Thee talk about this book in her YouTube channel I have been dying to read it; however, it is sold out almost everywhere at the moment so I might have to wait a bit.

According to Stylist Magazine, Poetry meets mental health in Charly Cox’s brave and beautiful She Must Be Mad.

This book is full of poetry and short texts that explore women's life and situation is today's society.

THE MAP THAT LEADS TO YOU
I do love a good romantic novel and I love when I can relate to the main characters. According to Amazon's page:

Two strangers take the road less travelled…
Heather Mulgrew's world is already mapped out: she is going to travel abroad with her friends after college, come back to a great career in September, and head into a life where not much is left to chance. But that was before an encounter on an overnight train introduces her to Jack, a passionate adventurer who changes the course of her journey and her life.
The story really intrigues me and it looks like the kind of story I'd really enjoy. I'd love to read it soon.

This is all from me today. What books are currently on your reading list? Comment them bellow…
