4 Drugstore Makeup Buys




I love makeup but sometimes I don't really feel like spending a lot of money on it. I also think you can find incredible products for a really reasonable price. In today's post I'm going to be talking you through 4 drugstore makeup products that I adore and recommend a hundred percent.

As you’d see these are mainly base and lip products as they are my favourite to get at the drugstore. There are many other products at the drugstore that I really, really like but I wanted to keep this at my top 4.




1.The Base
I have talked about this foundation, actually BB Cream, multiple times before on the blog. The Nude Magique BB Cream from L’Oréal has to be one of my favourite foundations of all times. It has a great medium coverage that is buildable and a nice natural mate finish. I love this foundation because I can wear it both day and night and I know it would work great.

2.Conceal it
I have recently discovered a new concealer favourite and it is extremely affordable. The Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer (and overall range) is incredible; it has a great coverage, a matte-satin finish and it's extremely long wearing. The only downside is that I can only use it in the summer as the lightest shade is too dark for me in the winter time.

3.Brows
No matter the type of makeup I am doing I always have to do my brows; mine are quite light and I like them to have a bit more definition. One of my favourite brow products is the Nyx Micro Brow Pencil in Taupe. I love the formula and the staying power of this brow pencil and how slim and easy to use it is.

4.Pop of Colour
One of the best makeup products to find at the drugstore are lipsticks. Many brands at the drugstore do great lipsticks but, to me, Maybelline is the absolute best. Both the cream and matte finish lipsticks are great and they have a bunch of different shades. Their lipliners are also incredible and make your lip colour last forever.
