19 Things, 19 Years
8/12/2018
Seeing as my
birthday is only a few days ahead (I was born on the 15th of August) I thought
I'd do a post all about it and I have decided to talk to you about nineteen
things about me, from things I have learned to things I love and adore.
I have to
admit I am not crazy about turning nineteen; I feel is such a weird birthday
because you are not becoming an adult as when you turn eighteen but you are not
in your twenties yet. I also think (and I have mentioned before on the blog)
that your age doesn't really have to define your personality; you can be
extremely mature at 20 or extremely childish at 50, it all depends on you.
1.I love art
in any of its forms. From music, to fashion and tattoos; I need art of some
sort in my life at all times.
2.You cannot
please everyone, and that is perfectly fine. It took me a long time to realise
that and now that I have I feel like I wasted so much effort trying to please
everyone in my life.
3.I am
obsessed with coffee (and I drink a lot of it).
4.It's okay to
have a bad day. You cannot pretend to be happy at all times.
5.Staying true
to yourself can be quite difficult but it's the most rewarding feeling ever
once you realise you only need to fight to be the best version of yourself.
6.If I could
only at one thing for the rest of my life that would be chocolate (or cookies, croissants
or cakes).
7.Some people
won't stay in your life forever and that's okay. Some of those people could be
the ones that shaped your personality the most.
8.Fashion is
one of my biggest passion and I'd love to work on it in the future.
9.My favourite
city is Paris and I'd love to live there at some point of my life.
10.Family is
extremely important. Take care of yours as much as you can now so you don't
regret it later.
11.I am extremely
perfectionist which is not necessarily a good thing. I put too much pressure on
myself and I want to do things perfect at all time.
12.I've had
anxiety for years and I have learned it is really important to talk about it;
you may feel much better once you take some weight out of your shoulders.
13.I did music
lessons and I was also in a drama group from a really young age and unfortunately,
I had to give it up once I started college. I have always been quite an artistic
person.
14.My
favourite colour is red, the colour of love and passion. Even though I also
adore pink.
15.I consider
travelling an eye-opening experience and the perfect opportunity to discover
new cultures. If you can, travel; you would get to know yourself and meet
incredible people and countries.
16.I love my
little sister so much and I'd do anything for her. But don't tell her!
17.I really
want to get some tattoos in the future (preferably soon) but I prefer to stay
away from piercings (apart from the ones I have on my ears).
18.I am
extremely grateful for some of the people in my life; I love my friends with
all my heart and I have a bunch of good memories with them. I have been friends
with some of them for over 10 years and we have grown together and I'd hate to
lose them.
19.I don't really
like fizzy drinks but I love a good glass of rosé, so you already know what
I'd be drinking on my birthday!
This is
everything for today's post. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing
it.

I love how you mentioned that it's okay how some people won't stay in your life forever. As I've gotten older that's something I've noticed more and more.
