Wardrobe Update | August 2018

With summer coming to its final month I thought it was the perfect time to update my wardrobe and prepare it for the final days of summer. As I did around this time last year, I am going to be sharing with you some of my latest acquisitions.

Red Top White Jeans  /  Esprit Espadrilles

Let's start with tops. I have acquired a few tops over the last few weeks and they are all quite different to what I normally wear; however, I loved them so much and I really enjoy wearing them. The first one is the floral print halter blouse from Mango (it is currently on sale on their website); it looks incredibly great tucked into some denim shorts and I can imagine it being lovely with straight leg jeans when the weather gets a bit colder. The second piece is the red top from Zara; with a lovely cotton fabric and a nice and fun shape, this top has quickly become one of my favourites in my wardrobe. Again, it looks great with shorts and could also look amazing with some white jeans.

Talking about jeans, I'd love to incorporate a pair of white jeans to my wardrobe. I don't currently own any pair of white jeans as I have never been a fan before. Now I see them as the perfect weather transition jeans and I think they could look lovely with both of the tops I have just talked about. The other piece I want to incorporate to my bottoms wardrobe is a pair of leather shorts; I really like this one pair from Asos and I think the tie waist makes them a bit more special.

And now onto my favourite part, shoes. I am a huge fan of espadrilles and I have found ones I completely adore from Esprit. They have a lovely platform, which would elongate your legs a bit, and a really nice shape and fabric. I also would love to inchoate a new pair of ballet flats to my wardrobe as they are one of my most worn styles of shoes. These ones from Mango are just lovely and would look great with any outfit.

This is all for this wardrobe update full of transitional pieces perfect for the upcoming months. Hope you liked the post!
