Yearly Makeup Favourites | 2016

I'm back!! How was your Christmas? I hope it went amazing…
Today, as you can see by the title of the post I'm doing a yearly makeup favourites. I was going to do a beauty one (skincare, hair care, makeup, etc.) but I ended up choosing my real makeup favourites of the year and doing a post just about them.

Choosing the products was really difficult, but I ended up choosing my 10 most favourite products (and I think I did pretty well).

I'm not going to go into much detail of every product. However, if I've done a review on any of these I'll link it bellow. For face makeup I have three different products; the one I think it's my favourite of favourites is the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer. I bought it in January (with a Sephora voucher I got for Christmas) and I haven't stopped using it since then. My other face makeup favourite is the Mary Lou-Manizer by The Balm; this year has been the year of highlighters and strobing and this particular one is my favourite. It isn't too expensive either which is really nice. And last I wanted to mention a really affordable concealer that was my go to for the summer; I'm talking about the Catrice Liquid Camouflage concealer. It has great coverage, stays for a really long time and looks nice on the face; I really recommend it.

The product that I would consider my best discovery this year is the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara. I have short and straight lashes, and this mascara makes miracles for them. It adds lots of length, holds the curl really nicely and still adds volume to the lashes; I'm totally in love with it!
This year I've also tried lots of different eyebrow pencil, but the one I like the most is the MAC Eyebrow Pencil. I love the texture of it and the way it looks on the brows! Last but not least I wanted to mention a really good drugstore eyeliner. If you are a long time reader you'll know I've been obsessed with the L'Oreal So Couture Eyeliner for a long time now. It is really easy to use, really pigmented and doesn't dry out fast, what more can you ask for?

On my day to day, I tend to wear regular lipstick more than liquid lipstick. However, my two lip favourites are liquid lipsticks. One is from Sephora and I love it; it is matte but still really comfortable on the lips, lasts a long time and has a really good price. (I've also heard they are coming out with more shades and I'm really excited about it). The other one is from Nars and I talked about it in a recent post…

Last but not least I wanted to mention Zoeva brushes. They are my favourites and I've been really into them this year…

And that's it for this post!! What are your favourite makeup products of the year?? Let me know in the comments...
