Daily Minimal Makeup Routine

I'm a routine girl. I like having certain routines as they keep organized and anxiety free, both of which are really nice things. Makeup is no exception and I tend to stick to a certain makeup routine from Monday to Friday. It is really soft and minimal, but still makes me look awake and a bit more put together. I have converted to not using foundation for everyday; I feel like it leaves my skin breathe and makes it feel less irritated. Let's now see what products I use on my everyday makeup routine…
As I
mentioned before I do not apply foundation on my skin because I find it is
better for it. First thing I do is apply some primer; it will help my makeup
stay longer and will also act as a base for the powder products. My favourite
primer at the moment is the Nyx Angel Veil primer. Then I move onto concealer
and I use different ones for different areas of my face. Under my eyes I use
the Mac Prolongwear concealer in NC15; on any redness or imperfections I might
have on my face I either use the Maybeliine Fit Me Concealer or the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer. And
then go and set everything with powder and the one I'm using currenty is the
Wet and Wild PhotoFocus Powder Foundation.
In order
to add some colour back to my face I then apply a light amount of bronzer,
blush and highlight. The products I use are the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil
Bronzer, the Kiko Blush in Rosy Mauve and the Nars Hot Sand Highligter.
Now let's
talk about the eye makeup. I do my usual brow routine, using the Nyx Micro Brow
Pencil and the Maybelline Brow Mascara, making them look natural and feathery.
Then I apply a tiny bit of eyesahdow to my lid and crease; the shade I use
depends on the day but I normally use the Kiko Eyesahdow in 46 or the middle
shade from the Becca Ombre Rouge Palette. For mascara, as per usual, I use the
Benefit Roller Lash Mascara in Black.
I tend to
go for nude lipsticks or light mauve colours for my day to day as I don't
really like to wear anything too bold. My favourite ones are the Mac Lipstick
in Velvet Teddy and Modesty, the Nars Velvet Lip Glide in Bound and the Sephora
Collection Liquid Lipstick in Copper Blush (sometimes mixed with the Nyx Lip
Lingerie in Lace Detail).
Last, but
certainly not least, I set everything with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting
Spray.
