5 Ways to Add Colour Into Your Outfits

If you are like me, most of your wardrobe will be formed by white, black, grey and nude / pink pieces. By any mean this is something bad, but sometimes adding a bit of colour into your outfits can be really nice. If you find it hard (such as me) keep reading to discover some ways to add colour into your outfits a bit easier.

1. Go for Colourful Accessories
Adding small splashes of colour into your outfits with accessories is such an easy and quick way of making your outfits a bit more colourful. I love colourful suede mules at the moment and also smaller colourful bags paired with some jeans and a white shirt. A neck scarf or a colourful watch are also great options. Small details like these are perfect for taking your look from basic to fantastic.

2. Colourful Tops + Jeans
Going for a total colour look can be quite tricky if you are not used to it. For that reason, I'd recommend going for a colourful top of your preference and pairing it with you favourite pair of black, white or denim jeans. Your outfit will still look fun and colourful and you will feel a lot more comfortable than with a multi-coloured look. You can also go the opposite way; pair your favourite par of colourful jeans with a white top for a fun and fearless look.

3. Dresses or playsuits
Dresses and / or playsuits are such an easy way of adding colour into your outfits. Whether it is a plain or printed dress or playsuit, they will always help you achieve a really easy colourful look. Wearing just one piece is much easier than having to combine different ones and creating a whole outfit. I'd recommend you pair your dress with neutral accessories to focus the attention of the outfit in your dress (or playsuit).

4. Embrodiery / Stripes / Graphics
Adding subtle touches of colour to your outfit can also make it a bit more special. Embroidery, which is really on trend at the moment and can be found in almost every piece; and striped or graphic t-shirts are perfect to achieve that look. Pair your favourite band t-shirt with some jeans and a blazer to get the perfect casual outfit or wear your favourite denim skirt with an embroidery top for the perfect summer look.

5. Lingerie

I am a big fan of showing a bit of your bra under a white shirt or a nice top. I even love wearing a body under a suit and showing a bit of it. Wearing a colourful bra or bralette and letting a bit of it out can be a really sexy and feminine way of adding a tiny bit of colour into your outfits. You can find really nice bralettes at places like H&M or Victoria's Secret.
