From drugstore to luxury...
Mascara is my favourite of favourites beauty products and I love trying put different ones. I decided to talk about my top 3 mascaras in this post and tell you why I love them and how they work on my lashes.
First, let me
talk about my lashes. My lashes are pretty short and straight, so I look for a
mascara that will add length and also volume so my lashes don't look to
spidery. I also want my mascara to hold the curl of my lashes all day so that
my eyes look more open and awake. I don't have oily eyelids so my mascara tends
to stay pretty well on my eyes. I don't want my mascara to smudge or flake off
in any way, but I think we all agree with that.
CATRICE GLAM
& DOLL MASCARA (WATERPROOF)
This mascara
is really great, especially if we take into account its price (around 5€ /
7$).The one I have is the waterproof version but all the other should work as
well or even a bit more. (I'll leave a link bellow so you can see the different
ones on the range and the different brushes they have). I love this mascara because
it adds the right amount of volume to my lashes but still adds length and holds
the curl really nicely; they have one especially for curling the lashes which
I'm desperate to try. It stays all day in your lashes, even if you get into the
pool and then have a shower (I have tried it); and has a really simple rubber
wand. Overall, I'd really recommend this mascara if you are looking for an
affordable one that will give you volume and length.
BENEFIT
ROLLERLASH MASCARA
I have
spoken about this mascara a million times on the blog, I know, but I just love
this so much I just want to recommend it to you over and over again. This
mascara has all I look for in mascara: it adds the perfect amount of volume to the
lashes, lengthens them and holds the curl like no other mascara does. This one
lasts for a really long time on the lashes and leaves looking beautiful all day
long. It has a bent rubber wand which really helps adding a curl to the lashes.
If you suffer from really straight lashes I would a hundred percent recommend
this mascara.
YSL VOLUME
EFFET FAUX CILS MASCARA
And last,
but not least, we have the luxury mascara of dreams. If I could only wear one
mascara for the rest of my live I think it would be this one. This mascara is
just beautiful; it adds volume and length to the lashes without making them
feel crunchy. It holds the curl really well and lasts all day on the eyes; it
also makes your eyes look open and awake in the most beautiful way. It has a
really simple natural fibber wand that makes applying the mascara really easy
and quick. If you are thinking on investing in a luxury mascara I would really
recommend this one as it really is worth the money.
