New Beauty for the New Term

September is the month of new beginnings, at least for me. New school year, back to work after the holidays, fashion weeks' month, etc. As many changes happen in the month of September I decided to change my beauty routine and incorporate some new products into it and that's what I'm going to be sharing with you today.

My skin has been pretty dry recently and I felt like it had to do with my day time moisturizer. I did some research online and found this one from Ren Clean Skincare and decided to buy it. It is their Vita Mineral Daily Supplement Moisturizing Cream. I have only used it twice so I cannot give you a full review but so far so good; it moisturizes my skin but still feels really light and doesn't feel greasy.

All the products I'm going to be sharing next are makeup products and that is because I wanted to try some new products that will allow me to create a natural, foundation-less, everyday makeup routine for University.  The first makeup product I bought was the Nyx Angel Veil Skin Perfecting Primer; I have heard so many good things about this primer that I decided to buy it for myself and I love it. It makes my skin feel really soft and prolongs the wear of my makeup (whether I put foundation on or not).

Then, to go on top of my concealer and add a bit more coverage, I bought the Wet and Wild Photo Focus Pressed Powder in the shade Neutral Beige. I initially wanted the Mac Mineralize Skin Finish, which I'll be buying soon, but decided to buy this instead and I have to say it has to be one of the best affordable powders out there. It is really a really fine powder that looks soft and natural on the skin.

Kiko Milano has some great eyeshadows at a really good price. If you have been reading me for a while you'll know that rose toned eyeshadows are my favourites and when I saw this one in the shade 46 I knew I had to get it. It looks great all over the lid and on the crease and it's perfect for a natural everyday look.

Last but not least I wanted to talk about the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. I bought this right before my holiday and it was a complete life savior as it keep my makeup on all day long on the really hot weather of Lisbon. It has become an essential in my makeup bag and I know I'll be using it every single day.

What beauty products have you bought recently?? Let me know in the comments…
