Current Reads & Favourite Books
11/26/2017
I don't
know if you know this about me, but I absolutely adore reading. Ever since I
was a little girl I have always had a book in my hands and I realised I haven't
really talked about my favourite books or my current reads on the blog before,
so that's what I'm doing today.
Let's
start talking about some of my favourite books. One of my favourites (if not my
favourite) I have read recently is A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness. The one
shown in the picture is the Spanish version (as I read both in Spanish and
English). I love the story and how everything is written; it was really easy to
read and also captivating so I read in less than a week reading only at night
time. I haven't seen the film yet, but if it is as good as the book it can be
amazing. Another book I absolutely loved reading was The Fault In Our Stars by
John Green. This book is really popular but it's such a beautiful book I can
understand why. I have read other John Green novels and I have to say this is
the only one I love. The film based on this book is also wonderful.
Let's
move on to my most recent purchases and current reads. The book I am currently
reading is Moonrise and I have been really enjoying it. It explains the story
of a boy whose brother is on death row and the story of their last summer
together. It is written by Sarah Crossan and I love how she has kept the
chapters short and sweet, as it makes reading so much easy when you don't have
much time. Another book I recently bought is The Loneliest Girl In the Universe
by Lauren James. I'm not going to explain much about this book but it's
basically a love story in space; it seems really interesting to me and I am
really excited to read it.
Last but
not least I have another recommendation. If you are Spanish or you like reading
in that language, I'd a hundred percent recommend X by Risto Mejide. This book
is full of short texts that talked about various topics. I absolutely love the
writing style of this book and I enjoy re-reading some of the texts every so
often.
What are
your favourite books? Let me know in the comments…
