Cold Weather Skincare Essentials
1/17/2018
I don't really like
to change my skincare routine that often so one of my favourite ways of adding
an extra hydration to my skin are face masks. I have two moisturizing face
masks that I ablosutely love and that are quite different. One of them is the
Garnier Hydrabomb Tissue Masks; this has to be one of the best face masks at
the drugstore and one of the most hydrating ones I have ever tried. I truly
recommend it. Another one I love is the Origins Drink Up Intensive Face Mask;
this one I use when my skin is extremely dry. I apply a thin coat and leave it
overnight and I then wake up with beautiful plumped skin.
As I said before I
don't love changing my skincare routine really often but over the last few
months I have been incorportaing face oils into it. I love the Kielhs Midnight
Recovery Concentrate so much but I don't have it at the moment. The one I'm
using at the moment is the Olay Regenerist Luminous Face Oil. I love how it
works with my skin and the smell of it. I use it either alone or in conjunction
with my moisturizer (which by the way is, at night, the Clinique Moisture Surge
Intense). I also really want to try the Blue Orchid Facial Oil from Clarins.
My lips also suffer
a lot with this cold and that's when my Clarins Moisture Replenishing Lip Balm
works its magic. I apply a thick coat before I go to bed and it really hydrates
my lips. Another one of my favourites is the Apivita Propolis Lip Balm.
Last but not least I
wanted to mention a hand cream, as my hands get really dry during winter. The
one I am suing at the moment and that has become one of my favourites is the
Almond Milk and Honey Hand Cream from the Body Shop.
