Three Things That Make Me Feel Better

Sometimes we
feel like we need some time with ourselves just to mend our soul and feel a bit
better. Every time I feel like need some sort of me time, I always tend to do
the same three things:
PAMPER, READ & MUSIC.
Having a
classic pamper evening is one of the things that make me feel the best. I love
taking a bath every so often and relax with the smells of the bath. I also love
putting a face mask to treat my skin after an intense week or just to give the
attention I don't give my skin sometimes. If your skin feels nice and clean and
you feel fresh and are left with a delicious sweet smell from your bath you
would feel much better with yourself. I also like to think as pamper evening as
moments to think about the good things in your life and forget about the not so
good ones. You will be left with a peaceful sensation and there's nothing
better than that. You already know how much I love the Origins face masks; in
my opinion they are some of the best.
I love reading
and it's one the things I enjoy doing the most. I have to admit that whenever I
want to relax I tend to go for easier to read books and not ones with intense
or sad stories. I love fashion and I love reading about it; for that reason, I
like to have some fashion related books in my room that I can go to as often as
I need and that I enjoy reading every time as the first one. One of my
favourite books for that purpose is How to Be Parisian; it is just a wonderful
book that inspires me a lot. I also love catching up on my favourite books
whenever I want to relax; there are a few blogs I always enjoy reading and I go
back to them quite frequently.
The last thing
I like to do whenever I want to relax or make me feel a bit better is listening
to some kind of music; whether it involves listening to one of my favourite
albums, watching one of my favourite musicals (or even Disney films) or singing
out loud in my room. Music is therapeutic to me and I cannot let a day go by
without listening to some sort of music. At the moment I am really enjoying
Ariana Grande's new music as well as James Bay's latest album. And for films,
some of my all-time favourite musicals are Moulin Rouge, Burlesque and Grease.
