Jewellery for the Seasons Ahead

I am a big fan of jewellery and I realised I don't talk about it on the blog as much as I should. I decided to talk about the pieces of jewellery I like wearing during the colder months as well as some tips on how I style jewellery and some inspiration.

I used to be one of those people that never changed their earrings until a few months back. Now I'm all about changing my earrings depending on my outfit as well as using more statement earring to spice up outfits that are a bit more simple. I also think it's not necessary to spend a fortune on earrings, especially those trendy ones that you may not like next year. They also work great with chunky knits that are a bit more difficult to accessorize.

I love necklaces and I have a lovely collection with pieces I adore. I find necklaces one of the easiest pieces of jewellery to wear as they do not bother you when you are at school, university or work. I think investing in necklaces is quite a good idea specially if you find the perfect one for you. I get them from random boutiques at Barcelona but I'd leave some I like down below. Also, layering them can create an amazing effect and they look lovely over thin knits.

I am not the biggest fan of rings and I think it has to do with the fact that I use public transport almost daily and it can get really hot in there, but I do have a few rings that I really love and wear quite often. Stacking rings is also a great way but be careful as too much rings can end up looking a bit too much, at least for my liking.

Bracelets are my favourite piece of jewellery and I wear one pretty much daily. I do like to invest in bracelets mainly because I feel you can find unique pieces with amazing quality if you spend a bit more (as for example, Monica Vinader). I actually like wearing different metals as I feel it gives a more special touch t the outfit.

Let's talk watches as, to me, there are some that are complete jewellery masterpieces. I love watches and it's one of the things I love investing in. I don't have any extremely high-end ones yet but it's one of the things I'd like to invest in the future. Nowadays there are amazing brands making watches at a really good price point.
