Five Transition Clothing Picks | Highstreet
2/03/2019
Even though it
is currently freezing outside, my mind is already thinking of Spring. I think transitioning
from Winter to Spring can be a bit of a struggle when it comes to fashion and
for that reason, today I am going to share with you five highstreet clothing
picks for the transitioning from Winter to Spring.
As much as I
love winter fashion, it can get a bit boring sometimes as there are not many
options to what t wear when the weather is so cold. For that reason, the transitioning
period between Winter and Spring is my favourite; it allows me to wear my favourite
jumper without freezing if I decide to wear a lighter coat or wear my favourite
shirts and a coat and be completely fine with it.
Let's start talking
about the piece that I have already bought (and I'm waiting to come in the
mail), the camel coat from Mango. I originally wanted this coat in the black
colour but it is completely sold out. After thinking about it for a while, I
decided to go for the camel one as it was something I was missing in my
collection and I feel is the perfect shade for a transitioning coat. The cut of
it is much more casual than other coats I owned and I really like the two big
buttons on the middle.
My second
favourite piece out of the five are the Leopard Print Ballerina Flats from
Zara. I love ballerina flats and I wear them a lot during Spring. I think this
pair is a real nice way of adding a bit of leopard print into an outfit while
being subtle at the same time. I also really like the shape of the shoe and how
the toe mimics a ballerina pointe shoe.
Another
clothing item I wear a lot during the Spring months is a white shirt. I have a
few of them in my collection already but I could not resist this one from Zara.
It is a 100% cotton and has the loveliest polka dot embroidery print. It is me
in a shirt. I think it is a really fun and different twist on your classic
white shirt.
In can, be a
little cold in Spring as well and for those days when the weather decided to go
back to Winter, I have this gorgeous jumper from & Other Stories. The
quality of their knitwear is incredible and I absolutely love the shape and
colour of this one. I also think the cut makes it perfect to wear with skirts
and bare legs when the sun starts to shine.
Last but not
least we have this red satin skirt from Topshop. Topshop has been making these
skirts for a few seasons now and I'd love to incorporate one into my wardrobe.
I love the red colour on this skirt (and the subtle teardrop print) and I think
it could look amazing paired with a fine knit and some black boots.
What are your
clothing picks for the transitioning period? Let me know in the comments…
