How to Achieve a "Luxury" Glow

I have to admit I am a big lover of the natural glowing skin makeup trend. I think a skin with light and radiance is extremely beautiful and I love using different products in my makeup routine that help make my dry skin more glowy and radiant.

Although there are good affordable products that do this, I find myself reaching for those products in my collection that are a bit more premium when it comes to achieving a radiant glow on the skin. In today's post I am going to be talking about my favourite products to get a luxury glow as well as some other products I really want to add to my collection.

Primers can really make a difference in how radiant your makeup looks, they can add a bit extra glow even to matte foundations. My favourite primer (without a doubt) is the Becca First Light Priming Filter. It gives your skin the most beautiful glow and preps it perfectly for makeup. It is truly on of the best primers in the market. Becca also do one that is a bit more champagne, called Back Light Priming Filter, that I think will be perfect for summer (even on no makeup days). There are also incredible sets in the market with travel sizes of both primers that are perfect for you to try the products.

Now let's talk liquid highlighter. Even though I tend to use powder products more often, I find that liquid highlighter can give the most natural (yet blinding sometimes) highlighted look to your skin. I have a mini of the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal and I adore it, as it is the perfect champagne shade for my dry skin. Again, you can get them in sets or travel sizes to try them out or just to save some money because, let's be honest, no one will go through a big bottle of liquid highlighter. A really similar product I really want to try is the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter, the concept of highlighter and skin perfector really intrigues me.

Now let's move onto the king of the luxury glow, Hourglass. If there's a brand that knows how to do products for a luxury glow, it is Hourglass. All of their face powders give your skin the most beautiful glow from within look and their blushes and bronzers are extremely fine and beautiful. Their highlights are also amazing and look metallic, yet somehow natural, on the skin. The two palettes I have from the brand were limited edition but I have linked some similar ones bellow., as well as their individual blushes and highlights that are also amazing.

The product I think made me feel in love with the "luxury" glow was the Nars Hot Sand Powder Highlighter. It is still to date my favourite highlighter and I use it almost every day. It is one of the most natural highlights in my collection and it gives the most beautiful glow to the skin. The shade is also perfect as it is not to cool not to warm. They also have a liquid version which I'll love to get for summer. Nars also released some more powder highlights last year (with a different formula) and some highlighting palettes that also look amazing.
