The Dress Guide | Shift Dresses

Tercera entrada de una de mis series preferidas! Esta vez dedicada a un vestido de día. Voy a hacer dos entradas más de esta serie, una para un vestido de noche y otra para un vestido de ocasión.

Third post on one of my favourites series so far!! This time dedicated to another day time dress. I'll be doing to more posts in this series, one for a night time dress and another one for occasion dresses.

Ahora, vayamos a los vestidos con vuelo. Estos son, con diferencia, los más fáciles de llevar. Es un básico en el armario de todo amante de los vestidos y puede ir con tanto looks como quieras. Quedan bien en todos los cuerpos, gracias a su corte, y los puedes encontrar en todas las tiendas.

Los puedes encontrar de muchas maneras diferentes: estampados, lisos, de manga larga, sin mangas, etc. Todos son bastante fáciles de llevar y voy a enseñaros mis maneras preferidas. Las chaquetas complementan estos vestidos a la perfección, ya que te dan calor y dejan que el vestido acapare toda la atención. Una chaqueta de cuero, una gabardina o una americana, todas van perfectas con estos vestidos. Tenemos la misma situación con los zapatos, casi cualquier zapato queda bien con estos vestidos; elige el que más combine con tu vestido. Si los quieres llevar en días más fríos, las medias son una buena opción ya que son calentitas, solo asegúrate de que combinan o parecerás un payaso!!

También puedes encontrar algunos más adecuados para la noche (como con todos los vestidos) y creo que estos son perfectos para una noche tranquila, con unos tacones y un bonito maquillaje.

Como he dicho antes, quedan bien en todos las formas de cuerpos, pero también quedan bien en todas las alturas: cosa que es bastante increíble!!

Now, onto shift dresses. These definitely have to be the easiest to wear. It's such a staple piece in every dress-lover wardrobe and goes with as many looks as you want. They suit every single body type, as they have a very fluttering cut, and can be found in every single store.

You can find in lots of different ways: printed, plain, long sleeved, short sleeved, etc. They all are pretty easy to wear (as long as you don't choose a super strange print) and now I'm going to tell you how I like to wear them. Jackets go really well with these kinds of dresses, as they provide you more warmth while leaving the dress keep the attention it deserves. A leather jacket, a trench coat or a blazer, they all go really well with this kind of dresses. We have the same thing with shoes, almost every type of shoe will look great with a dress like that; just choose the one that looks better with your dress. If you wanna wear them in colder days, tights are a great option to keep you warm and cosy, just make sure they match the dress or you’ll look like a clown!!

You can also find some that are more appropriate for night time (like with every day time dress) and I think these are gorgeous for relaxed night out, paired with a pair of heels and a pretty makeup look.

As I said before they suit every single body type thanks to its shape, but it also suits every height; which I think it’s pretty amazing!!
