(P)Leather, booties and jumpers.
I love
autumn and winter fashion. I feel like it is more fun than dressing in warmer
months, as you can add as many layers as you want to. I also love big coats and
booties and, unfortunately, I can't wear them over the summer.
My very
first essential will be a long sleeved white shirt. They are a staple all year
round but I do really wear them in autumn. They look great with a leather
jacket, under a jumper, even under a dress. I have a few of them in my wardrobe
and I wear them a lot. Another fashion essential will be a neutral colour
jumper. Again these go with everything and they are really easy to wear. I'd
also recommend you have ones with different thickness and styles; this will
make them more versatile.
I also
love wearing coated trousers in autumn and winter. They are more elegant than
regular jeans (which are also a staple) but still keep you warm and
comfortable. If you are okay with wearing leather, a good pair of leather
trousers is also a great option. I love wearing them with a nice cosy jumper
for a really effortless still chic look.
If
there's something I always have in my wardrobe is a biker jacket. The one I
bought for this year is black and it's made of a really nice texturized
pleather. I love the fit of it, as it allows me to wear a thin jumper
underneath without being baggy, and the quality of the jacket (It will be
linked bellow). I'm a huge fan of coats and I adore a good winter coat as well
(let me know if you'd like to see a post about them).
Now
moving on to accessories, there are a few things I always have in my wardrobe.
Number one, and my favourite, will be a pair of black booties (I like them with
a bit of a heel). They are such a life saver as they are comfortable, go with
absolutely everything and keep you really warm. If I could only wear one shoe,
it will be it. This year I've been really into small cross body bags. I don't
wear them if I need to carry a lot of stuff, but on days I just carry my phone
and money they are perfect.
There's
nothing I love more than a soft slouchy scarf, and every year I buy one that I
wear to death. This year I've bought one from Zara that I love so much. It is
super soft and pink, and will make my outfits really warm.
What are
your essentials?? Let me know!
(I wanted to
do an outfit post with that, but I didn't have time or someone to take the
pictures. All the pictures I used where from Pinterest.)
