I'm back! And ready to show you my ideal Valentine's Day makeup…

I really wanted to do a Valentine's Day post this year. However, I've been so busy recently that I almost forgot to do one. I decided to create a Valentine's Day makeup look and show you how to take it from day to night with just a few steps. It's a really romantic look that's pretty easy to recreate and that will look great in anyone.

For the day time look I wanted something pretty soft and feminine. I started creating a really flawless base. For that, I used the L'Oreal True Match Foundation and the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer; to set everything I took my trusty Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. Then I added a bit of colour to my skin with the Milk-Chocolate Soleil Bronzer from Too Faced. For blush I used the Max Factor Cream Puff blush in Seductive Pink and then I added a bit of the L'Oreal True Match Highlighter in 202 on top.
Use whatever products will help you create a really nice and flawless base; these ones are the ones that work for me and that I know I can trust.

Now let's talk about the eyes. First let's work on our brows: I used the Nyx Eyebrow Pencil in Taupe and the Maybelline Brow Drama brow mascara to create a nice natural brow.
As it is Valentine's Day, I wanted to do something natural and rosy on my eyes and for that I used the Naked 3 Palette from Urban Decay. I started by applying a shadow stick from Kiko all over my eyelids as base and then blend it out. I applied the shades Limit and Nooner from the Naked 3 Palette on my crease; these two shades are perfect crease shades. I also applied these two shades to my lower lash line for a bit of definition. To add a bit more shine to the eyelids I applied Buzz to the centre of the eyes.
Now let's move on to eyeliner; I just added a nice nude eyeliner to my waterline to open my eyes and make me look more awake. Last, but not least, I curled my lashes and applied my trusty Roller Lash Mascara from Benefit.

I did a very nice nude lip. For that I used the MAC Lipliner in Soar (which has become an absolute favourite) and the Nars Audacious Lipstick in Raquel on top. I also think the Nars Velvet Lip Glide in Bound would look amazing with this look.

Now let's take this look from day to night.

If you feel you need to add a bit more foundation or concealer now it's the time to do it. My foundation lasted pretty well so what I did was add a bit of contouring using the Maybelline Master Sculpt in Light to Medium. To make the face makeup a bit more glowy and sexy, I applied the Mary-Lou Manizer from The Balm to the tops of my cheekbones and my nose.

Now let's transform the eyes. Apply Nooner to the crease again to make it a bit darker; then apply Liar all over the eyelids. I decided to add a black eyeliner (creating a really subtle wing) to define my eyes and then added some individual lashes (I used duos and trios) to the outer half of the eyes. These lashes from Eylure are amazing and really easy to apply, I truly recommend them.

I'm going to give you two different lip options. To keep this look a bit more natural, I used the Mac Soar Lipliner and the Sephora Cream Lip Stains in Copper Blush (number 23); these two create a nice dark nude colour which I love. For a more dramatic look I took a red lip liner and the added the NYX Liquid Suede in Cherry Skies on top; these tow create a nice dark red lip colour (you can also apply any red lipstick you like).

And that's all for today! Don't forget to show me your recreations on Twitter…

Happy Valentine's, xoxo.
