5 Tips for a Better Suitcase

Whether you are an avid traveller or you just travel during the summer holidays, packing your suitcase can be quite a stressful situation. Over the years I have developed some tips that help e pack my suitcase much quicker and efficiently; especially since I have travelled just with a carry on for the last years (it saves so much time at the airport).

1.CHECK THE WEATHER FORECAST IN ADVANCE
This might seem quite stupid but I still remember that one time I travelled to Paris in the middle of August with just one pair of long jeans to then find out it was raining for the majority of the trip. Checking the weather forecast and looking at what the weather is like most of the time where you are going is essential to pack the right clothes.

2.PLAN YOUR OUTFITS
Even though at first this might look like a waste of time but you will make sure you pack everything you need to wear the right outfits every day. Also, try to plan your itinerary in advance so you can choose what to pack depending on where you are going. In the end this will make your packing much quicker and effective.

3.TAKE EXTRA CLOTHES
As you cannot anticipate what would happen while you are on holidays I'd also recommend taking some extra clothes will make sure you are prepared for whatever the destiny has planned for you.
They don't necessarily have to be different outfits, just a few pieces that you can wear with you have already packed and that will keep you covered if something happens.

4.DON'T FORGET ACCESSORIES
Accessories can really elevate your outfit and you cannot forget them when packing. My biggest tips regarding accessories are:
-Take comfortable shoes. You don0t want to spend your entire holidays with blisters on your feet so make sure you take shoes you feel comfortable with.
-Take useful bags. Some of the trendiest bags can be quite unpractical, make sure you take bag that will fit your essentials for a day out sightseeing.

5.TRAVEL SIZES ARE A MUST
When packing your beauty bag, I highly recommend you buy travel sizes of your favourite products or that you transfer them into travel containers. This is extremely space saving and an essential if you are travelling just with a hand luggage.

Another tip, especially if you are travelling to a cold place is to take the bigger pieces (like a coat) with you on the plane so it doesn’t take much space in your suitcase.

These are my tips for a more effective packing. I really hope you enjoy the post!
Also, leave me down below any recommendation of things to do and see in Provence, France. I am going at the middle of August and I'd love any recommendations of things to do and see there.
