Things That Inspire Me

Today I wanted to do a very different post, talking about the things that inspire me the most and some other things.

Today I wanted to do a very different post, talking about the things that inspire me the most and some other things.

You may know if you follow me on social media that recently I've been feeling really down; I don't really know what's going on and I'm going to the doctor's soon. One of the days I stayed home during Christmas break I started thinking about which were the things that inspired me, in some way or another, and decided to make a post about it. I really wanna include some more posts like that, talking about different topics, and I'd love to add some nice outfit pictures to them, but that would have to wait until I have a bit more time.

One of the things that inspire me the most are books. I've always been an avid reader and I've read many books in my almost 18 years of life. Recently I've been reading more "touching" books and I found they can give great life lessons to all of us. Last week I finished "A Monster Calls" by Patrick Ness; I haven't seen the film yet but I loved the book so much that I'll definitely see the film some time soon. Books like this one really make you think about your perspective in life and are really, really inspiring.

I've always been really inspired by powerful women; by that I mean women that work in the thing they like the most, whether it is acting, fashion or business; women that are confident and that fight for they dreams and rights; women that have passed a rough time in their life and that are shinning now more than ever; entrepreneur women that have set up their own dream business;… I look forward this kind of women and I think we all should. We should empower ourselves instead of hating on another woman for her success; we are all better together. I also have a huge appreciation and admiration to people who risk their life in order to save others (volunteers, fireman, etc.); every time I see an action like this on TV my heart shrinks and I get really emotional. There really is kindness on the world and that makes me really happy.

Music inspires me so much. I went to music classes from the age of 4 up to when I was 14 years old. I love music and the way musicians can express so much with just a song; in some cases it doesn't even need lyrics, the right music can transmit so many emotions and sensations.
The same happens with art and fashion; I found amazing that someone can express his ideas in such unique ways, creating amazing masterpieces.

Travel also inspires me a lot. I love getting to know people from other countries, getting to know their cultures and traditions. There's something really quite nice about travelling and also something really inspiring; you will never finish a trip without having learnt something new.

Obviously, there are many other things that inspire me. However, they do it in a more personal way. Hope you like the post and I'll see you soon!!
