Peter Thomas Roth Face Masks | Review
2/02/2017
Face mask
obsessed?? Well, today we're putting these ones to the test.
I've
wanting to try the Peter Thomas Roth skincare, especially its face masks, for a
really long time. That's why I decided to ask for this pack (which I'll try to
link bellow if it's still available) for Christmas. I've used the three
different face masks for a few weeks now, I've found the ones I like the most
and today we're going to be talking about them.
Let's
start talking about the Cucumber Gel Mask. This is meant to be an "Extreme
Detoxifying Hydrator" face mask, which contains many great ingredients
such as cucumber or aloe. I have to say I quite like this mask; this gives my
skin a nice detox without making it feel to dry afterwards. It doesn't give a
really intense cleanse to the skin, but it is really nice if you just want to
refresh your skin and make it feel fresh. It also works really nice if you have
sensitive skin and you want to calm down the irritation a bit. In my view, this
face mask will work with any skin type but you won't like it as much if you
have oily skin.
Its full
size (150ml) retails for about 45€.
Let's now
talk about the Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel Mask.
This one is supposed to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles,
regenerate and tone the skin. I have to say this one is my least favourite,
mainly because I don't really need to reduce que appearance of fine lines or
rejuvenate my skin. However, it is still a nice face mask. It has a really nice
gel texture (really similar to the Sephora Night Face Masks) and leaves my skin
looking plumped and dewy. I'll make my mom try this face mask and let you know
her thoughts.
Again, its full size (150ml) retails for about 45€.
Last, but certainly not least, let's talk about the Pumpkin Enzyme
Face Mask. This one is an "enzymatic dermal resurfacer" and it's
going to leave your skin feeling smoother and looking younger, radiant and
revitalized. This face mask is intense, but I totally adore it; it is my
favourite one. You really feel this working on your skin but it's definitely
worth it, as it makes wonders on your skin. Even though it is really intense
and I have really sensitive it hasn't made me break out. I totally recommend
this face mask if you want to give an intense exfoliation to your skin.
As the other two, its full size (150ml) retails for about 45€.
Overall, I'd say Peter Thomas Roth face mask are really worth the
money, especially the pumpkin one. They have all worked really nice with my
skin and haven't irritated it. If you are a fan of a bit more premium skincare
or you want to invest in a great face mask, I'd totally recommend these ones.
Have you tried these face masks?? What are your thoughts? Let me
know in the comments...
