Why I Love the Urban Decay Naked Palettes
4/09/2017
Out of
all the eyeshadow palettes on the market, the UD Naked Palettes are one of my
favourites.
I have a
few eye shadow palettes and, out of all of them, the Naked Palettes from Urban
Decay are one of my favourites. I own the Naked 3 and the Naked Smoky and I
bought both of them with my own money. I still remember buying the Naked 3 as a
birthday present; it has a nice space in my heart as it was my first high end
makeup bit…
I know
there are many other eye shadow palettes on the market, and that many of them
have a really nice quality as well. However, the variety of shades and finishes
of the Naked Palettes from Urban Decay make me love them above most of the
other ones.
The Naked 3 is my most used palette ever. I wear it every week and I can create multiple looks with it. I love the rose tones in this palette as they are my favourite ones to wear. This palette is perfect for everyday wear but can also create nice night time looks, not as dark as other Urban Decay Palettes but still really nice. It has amazing shimmer shades, all with a rose kind of colour, and some matte shades that work perfect as crease shades. The packaging isn't my favourite but it is still nice and prevents the eye shadows from breaking. Overall, this is one of my favourite palettes ever.
The Naked Smoky palette is perfect if you are looking for a really versatile palette. The shades in this one make taking a makeup look from day to night really easily. From nice nudes and golds, perfect for day time wear, to silvers and deep purples, perfect for night time, this palette provides a huge variety of shades. The shimmer shades on this can look really metallic if you wet your brush before using them. I know this palette doesn't seem the most wearable, but I've been wearing it a lot for the past few weeks using the two lighter matte shades. I love the packaging on this as it has a magnetic closure that is really handy. It also is pretty heavy duty and keeps your eye shadows save.
Overall I
would really recommend any of the Naked Palettes if you are thinking of
investing in one of them. They are all really versatile and let you create many
different looks. The eye shadows, and the palettes in general, are really good
quality and apply really nicely to the eye; also the price point isn't too bad
considering you get 12 great quality eyeshadows. They have 5 different palettes
on this range (I'm dying to try the all matte one) and I'm sure you'll find one
you like.
Have you
tried any of these palettes?? Let me know in the comments...
